New York born in 1970 and Geneva based (Switzerland), Philippe Cramer is a not very conventional creator. He doesn’t make only jewels. His works can be furniture, lamps or mirrors too. Philippe knows a lot about different materials, as wood, porcelain, leather or glass, and maybe all these different registers give an interesting result in all his designs. / Nacido en Nueva York en 1970 y afincado en Ginebra (Suiza), Philippe Cramer es un creador poco convencional. No hace sólo joyas. Sus trabajos también pueden ser muebles, lámparas o espejos. Philippe sabe mucho sobre diferentes materiales, como madera, porcelana, cuero o vidrio, y tal vez todos estos registros diferentes dan un resultado interesante en todos sus diseños.

Another important caracteristic of Cramer is his love for craftworks, specially made by Swiss artisans. But at the same time he investigates about new possibilities with technologies. All this mix is an extra of savoir faire, because it influences specially in his jewelry. He has a varied style, sometimes not very identificable at first sight. But that’s just where its value lies, in his versatility. Bracelet & ring from the Algorithmic Quartz collection, inspired by crystalline formations found in the Swiss Alps, but get from technologies. Philippe worked with a mathematician to program software for creating these natural shapes from a computer. Bracelet is made in resin dipped in 22k gold, and ring in 18k gold and carbon deposition on silver. / Pulsera y anillo de la colección Algorithmic Quartz, inspirados en las formaciones cristalinas de los Alpes suizos, pero obtenidas de las tecnologías. Philippe trabajó con un matemático para programar un software, para crear estas formas naturales desde una computadora. La pulsera está realizada en resina bañada en oro de 22k y el anillo en oro de 18k.
